ABOUT SAM
Sam Gregory is a photographer & videographer based on the south coast of England in beautiful Dorset. Like many, it was traveling that first inspired his love of photography, a desire to capture the differing landscapes he encountered on his journeys as a youngster, fired by his curiosity and wonder of the natural world.
Now his focus is on working within the landscape, both natural and man-made to explore story-telling opportunities. This ranges from recent projects exploring the impact of climate change in Europe to more abstract and less literal bodies of work exploring time, rhythm, aesthetics and the ceaseless change of the natural world.
His work has featured in various publications locally and nationally and been used by multiple organisations including The National Trust. He has self-published two books ‘MESOZOIC’ and ‘DOLOMITI DREAMSCAPES’, the latter of which was featured in Black & White Photography magazine.
Sam enjoys sharing his passion for photography and for environmental concerns through his photographic talks & presentations. His speaking engagements have taken him around the world and in front of distinguished audiences such as the Royal Photographic Society.
